Milton Hydro's 2026 Public Awareness of Electrical Safety Survey is STARTING SOON!
At Milton Hydro, Safety Above All Else is a core value that guides everything we do. Keeping people safe goes beyond maintaining infrastructure and training employees: It also means helping our employees, customers, and community understand electrical risks and how to avoid them.
Electricity is part of everyday life, but it can be dangerous if it’s not well understood. To help build awareness, Milton Hydro has partnered with UtilityPulse to launch the Public Awareness of Electrical Safety Survey in the form of a short 6 question quiz. The questions are mandated by the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) and cover common, real-life situations involving power lines, electrical equipment, and outages.

Who can participate?
The survey is open to all Milton Hydro customers and residents of Milton and Campbellville, aged 18 and over. It takes about five minutes to complete, provides your results when finished, and is completely anonymous. We do not share or sell any personal information.
How we use the information
Your feedback will help us better understand where electrical safety knowledge is strong and where more education is needed. This helps us improve how we share safety information and reduce risk in the community.
The Electrical Safety Awareness Survey runs January 14 to February 1.
