Jan 2025 Electricity Distribution Rate and Halton Region Water and Wasetwater Rate Updates

Effective Jan 1, 2025, a 3.60% rate increase in Milton Hydro’s distribution charge was approved by the OEB. Combined with expiring rate riders, this will result in a monthly total bill decrease of $2.32, or 1.68% for a residential customer with a monthly consumption of 750 kWh.
The Halton Region Water and Wastewater Rates for 2025 were approved and take effect on January 1, 2025. These rates include a combined increase of 5.5 % over 2024.
