Milton Hydro Honoured with Excellence in Innovation Award by Milton Chamber of Commerce

Milton Hydro has been awarded the Excellence in Innovation Award by the Milton Chamber of Commerce for its forward-thinking approach to customer service.

The recognition celebrates Milton Hydro’s 2024 launch of a cloud-based OMNI-channel platform that integrates phone, email, and online tools to deliver faster, more transparent, and accessible support.

New electricity prices for households and small businesses, effective November 1, 2025

The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) announced on Friday, October 17, 2025, that the electricity prices for households and small businesses will change as of November 1, 2025, under the Regulated Price Plan (RPP).  

At this time the new electricity prices take effect for customers on the Time-of-Use (TOU), Ultra-Low Overnight (ULO), and Tiered price plans. The TOU Winter hours and Tiered thresholds are now in effect, as usual. The ULO hours remain consistent year-round.  

Please note that the Ontario government’s Ontario Electricity Rebate (OER) has changed to 23.5%.
