Calling all Milton Hydro Large Commercial & Industrial Customers – Tell us your priorities

Milton Hydro is developing its next five‑year investment plan for 2028–2032, and we are inviting our large Commercial and Industrial customers to participate in a dedicated Customer Engagement webinar and online survey on Thursday, April 16 @ 1:30 pm.

These organization’s priorities and operational needs are essential to ensuring our long‑term strategy supports the businesses that power Milton and the surrounding service area’s economy.
 

Why Customer Input Matters

As part of our upcoming Cost‑of‑Service Rate Application to the Ontario Energy Board (OEB), Milton Hydro will be outlining the investments and prioritized projects required to maintain a safe, reliable, and efficient distribution system.

The feedback from our large Commercial and Industrial customers helps us:
  • Understand the infrastructure needs of large energy users
  • Prioritize investments that support reliability and operational continuity
  • Prepare for future growth, electrification, and changes in energy demand
  • Ensure our planning reflects the expectations of the business community
Their insights directly inform the decisions we make, helping shape a system designed to support commercial and industrial growth, innovation, and long‑term value.


Customer Engagement Webinar

We will be hosting a focused invitation-only virtual session to walk through our proposed 2028–2032 investment areas and the planning considerations behind them.

  • Date: Thursday, April 16, 2026
  • Time: 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
  • Platform: Online Webinar
  • Agenda: Our senior leadership team will present an overview of our long‑term strategy, followed by an opportunity for organizations to provide feedback.


Online Survey (Alternative Participation Option)

For organizations that prefer to participate independently, or are unable to attend the webinar, we also offer an online survey.
  • Available: Thursday, April 9 – Friday, April 17, 2026
  • Time required: ~30 minutes
The survey covers the same themes as the webinar and offers a flexible option for sharing your insights.
Please note that Large Commercial and Industrial customers are defined as those that require General Service of 50 to 999 kW and those that require General Service of 1,000 to 4,999 kW.

Throughout the webinar and online survey, we will be seeking perspectives on:
  • Proposed capital investments and infrastructure priorities
  • Reliability needs and system performance expectations
  • Anticipated changes in your operations or energy usage
  • Opportunities to improve service or communication
  • Emerging trends affecting the commercial and industrial sector
The received feedback will be incorporated into Milton Hydro’s 2028–2032 investment plan and our submission to the OEB.
