Planned Power Outage - Thursday, May 28

Milton Hydro has an upcoming planned 12-hour power outage in the below area

Map below shows area affected by planned power outage on Thurs, May 28. 

Avertex (a utility contractor) will be assisting Milton Hydro as we upgrade aging infrastructure in your area. They will be working (see below map for worksite location) from Tues, May 26^th to Thurs, May 28^th. To access the underground infrastructure, the crews will need to directionally bore in the ground.

To safely complete this work, there will be an extended planned 12-hour power outage on Thurs, May 28^th from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, weather permitting. Please rest assured that upon completion of the project the disturbed areas will be restored to their original condition.

Please note: the rain date is Thurs, June 4^th, 2026.

This work is necessary to upgrade aging underground infrastructure to modernize equipment which will enhance the resiliency and reliability of the grid.
