Effective Jan 1, 2026, a 3.70% rate increase in Milton Hydro’s distribution charge was approved by the OEB. Combined with expiring rate riders, this will result in a monthly total bill increase of $0.04, or 0.02% for a residential customer with a monthly consumption of 750 kWh.
The Halton Region Water and Wastewater Rates for 2026 were approved and take effect on January 1, 2026. These rates include a combined increase of 6.0 % over 2025. .
